In 2013 when I suggested that bagels could be the next product in development, our twitter feed lit up with excitement. After a year of development, refinement and perfecting, our bagels finally arrived. I would like to thank all our followers on social media for the feedback in helping seed the idea and shape the product.
Dr Zak's high protein bagels are available in two flavours, "multigrain & seed" and "cinnamon & raisin". Our multigrain & seed is available now followed by our cinnamon and raisin due in April 2015.
Made using Dr Zak's signature blend of protein isolates, seeds and multigrain, they are packed with 24g of protein and contain 40% less carbohydrate than your standard bagel. As well as packing a protein punch, our bagels are also low in sugars and high in fibre, making them not only delicious, but nutritious.
The result is yet another delicious and convenient way for those packing in the training, alongside a busy life style, to meet both their protein, carbs and fibre needs.

After seeing our bread and bagels on so many plates it only seemed right to create something you could enjoy with them. There was only one choice - a range of high protein nut butters.
Having trialled a whole host of different flavours, taste test after taste test, we gradually whittled them down to your five favourites.
The Flavours include:
And there is certainly no skimping on quality as every flavour is packed with the highest quality partially hydrolysed whey protein isolate, the very same protein found in Optimum Nutrition's platinum product range.
All our spreads are free from palm oil, naturally sweetened with fruit extract, contain no preservatives and deliver 7.2g of protein in every 20g serving. And the best bit of all, they are made right here in the UK in our own facility, fresh each week.

Dr Zak’s believe that their High Protein Pasta is the cleanest high protein pasta on the market. By combining two great protein sources with traditional Durum Wheat, we have turned one of the most staple food sources that traditionally delivered high levels of carbohydrate (up to 75g per 100g), into a protein packed reduced carb winner. No artificial colours, preservatives, additives, flavouring and No Soya Protein in sight.
Where does the protein come from?
Pea Protein Isolate:
Pea Protein Isolate is commonly regarded as the best vegetable protein source on the market. It is absorbed relatively slowly by the digestive system when compared to other protein sources such as whey protein. This provides your body with a more sustained supply of amino acids and nutrients, making it ideal for consumption throughout the day. It is particularly high in the Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and delivers all eight essential amino acids your body needs to build and maintain muscle.
Fresh Eggs:
Well what more can be said about eggs other than they are regarded as one of the highest quality sources of protein.
Here are the facts:

As part of our “Essentials Range” I thought it imperative that we stock a coconut oil. Our oil is packed full of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MTC's) that deliver many of the amazing nutritional benefits as well as being anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and high in lauric acid.
From our plantation in the heart of Sri Lanka, our extra virgin organic coconut oil is created from a cold pressed method, with the oil extracted at less than 46 degrees centigrade, ensuring it is classed as a raw food. Often called unrefined, this oil comes with a very subtle coconut taste and smell, a good indicator of the extraction method. This ensures the highest possible quality of the oil, safeguarding all the beneficial enzymes.
Then there is the colour. The Dr Zak's oil is like snow when cool and clear when heated, without any trace of a yellow or brown tinge, another indicator that a cold pressed extraction method was used.
Great for cooking, with a high smoke point, our coconut oil is safe to use in high temperatures, guaranteeing that the oil does not become carcinogenic and break down with excessive heat.
